Unique Wildlife of Tasmania





Kangaroo Mating

Who said Kangaroos can’t climb trees? This big boy has cornered his “girl” in the tree so there was no competition from other “boys”. There was no escape for this “lady”. He definitely kept is eye on the competition.

 

Cute Echidna

Echidas would have to be the cutest of all the Tasmanian wildlife and one of the most unique. This little guy was checking out the food supply but definitely checking me out too.

 

Iconic Tasmanian Devil

The endangered Tasmanian Devil would have to have the most fearsome reputation of any of the Australian animals.
Contrary to popular belief, they are actually very timid and shy, and hard to find in the wild.
