  • Cataract Gorge in Launceston boasts the longest single span chairlift in the world. We had spectacular weather and enjoyed lunch at the Gorge Restaurant.

 

Travel in Style at the Cataract Gorge

  • Cataract Gorge has an inclinator to aid people with mobility issues. It stops at different levels to make the experience accessible to everyone. It stops at the carpark, café and pool area.

 

Alexandra Suspension Bridge.                       Cataract Gorge



  • The historic Alexandra Suspension Bridge crosses Cataract Gorge giving great views of the gorge and the First Basin. It was opened to the public in November 1904.
